The Leonard family has lived and worked in the Greeneville Community since the 1920’s. Greeneville, Tennessee is home! One of our passions is to make the community a better place to live and work. The family and LMR Employees focus on being involved in the community, especially with the Greeneville City Schools System and economic development.
The School System was a passion of the matriarch of the family, Kay Leonard. She served as chairman of the school board for many years; and the Greeneville City Schools main office is named the “Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Offices.”
The Patriarch of the family, Terry Leonard, has been involved for over 40 years in working with local officials to bring economic development to the community. He has served in various roles in the community and was recognized as Tennessee Economic Volunteer of the Year.
Current LMR President Bob Leonard continues his Mother’s passion for the school system in working with the Greeneville City Schools Foundation. Co-owner of the business and Bob’s wife, Ivy Leonard, serves on the board of the United Methodist Holston Home for Children.
Watson Leonard works with the local YMCA and it’s focus on improving the quality of life in Greeneville, Tennessee. He serves on the Board and is currently chairman of the Board.
Greeneville and Greene County is a small community manufacturing hub in the southeast. The community has built upon its historical agriculture work ethic to deliver a workforce that will work hard and get the job done right.
